About Us

In 2020, a Nepalese couple had a vision to bring a twist in tea culture and establish a takeaway concept which was yet to be introduced in the region. This was the start of Bonum Cha’s journey. 
Bonum Cha serves its beverages with freshly brewed black tea/green tea while adding a twist with addition of ice-cream, fresh boba pearls, fresh seasonal fruits to provide fresh burst of flavour and a sip of surprise. This ensures that each cup Bonum Cha makes is a cup filled with premium goodness, from our fruity refreshers, all the way to our ice-cream tea.

Can you tell that I love Kiwi Ice Tea from Bonum Cha ? I love love love Kiwi and this drink is amazing 😍I first tried it here at Basantapur. Kiwi is my favourite fruit so I instantly became a fan. I have been gravitating towards the soft serve ice cream as well.As I didn't visit the Basantapur area that regularly, I did not get to eat it regularly. But their new outlets in Thamel and Patan are ones I frequent.Kudos to the team!

Best bubble tea in basantapur. They have a variety of boba tea and other stuff like refresher.We tried strawberry iced tea and refresher. The taste was good. 👀😌

I really liked their drinks! They mull fresh fruit to infuse the flavor and oh damn, how good was that. There's no seating but just a pick up option to take your drinks away and they were very quick to make our orders.

Bubble tea was unavailable the 3 times I visited so bummed about that. However, the replacement drinks were tasty too. I'll be visiting again for the bubble tea. If it's good I'll edit my rating to 5 stars. 🙂Edit: Got my bonumcha with bubbles, so added them to both my mango ice-cream bubble tea and the ice-cream topping cup. It was as wonderful as I thought it would be.The person on the counter was really observant and helpful too because she saw me waiting for a while and added me on the list before others to get my order faster. 😊😊P.S. Topping ice-cream may not be available with mango topping on the menu but if you ask for it on the counter, they will be more than happy to get you hooked on it.Go have it now before lockdown or any kind of restrictions happen again. And stay safe everyone, it gets kind of crowded because its really good.
